Fords Puts The Hands-Free Liftgate Through its Paces

The 2013 Ford Escape is set to roll into Jim Tidwell Ford shortly, and with it, a new piece of exciting technology. It's the hands-free liftgate, which works when the driver kicks their foot under the rear bumper of the vehicle. As long as the key-fob is in the pocket (or purse) of the person who wants to open the rear door, the latch will release and the door will gently swing open.
